Peer Matching

Created in collaboration with Google, Peer Matching brings a new social good element to Benevity’s Employee Engagement solutions. Encouraging people to match their coworker's donations sparks connections between people who’ve often not met before by getting them to support each other's passions.

My Role

As a Senior Product Manager at the time, I lead the initial client discovery, problem framing and collaborated with design and engineering partners to define a solution. Several techniques were used during this process including a series of client interview sessions, followed by broad market research. Understanding the problem at hand, user journey maps were assembled and story mapping was then utilized to help prioritize key-functionality.

Mid-way through this project I was promoted to Group Product Manager at which point the project was delegated to a Product Manager on my team. From there my involvement pivoted to strategic oversight, combined with mentoring and guidance for the new project lead.
